Rachel Trainor and Lakota Vella formed the all-female duo, Bloom, in 2017.

Drawing from a diverse array of influences traversing the genres of soul, rock, blues, r'n'b, pop and country, the duo utilises electric and acoustic guitars, a drum pad and looping station, combined with soaring vocal harmonies to achieve their unique sound.

Since its inception, the duo has performed regularly at numerous weddings, corporate events and venues across Melbourne.

Their modern spin on soulful classics combined with contemporary pop hits gives Bloom its distinct flavour, while a versatile set up means the duo can tailor their sound to accommodate a relaxed, stripped-back acoustic vibe or a rocking dance floor in a matter of moments.
