Ben - Owner/Director
Hi everyone, I'm Ben & I am the owner/director of WBC Entertainment.
I am a professional musician, and since studying music at university I have been playing in & managing bands. Now I also DJ too!
A few years ago when I was fresh out of university, I was lucky enough to join a couple of bands which took me overseas, touring and recording around Aus, NZ, and all over Europe. It was an incredible adventure, seeing parts of the world I’d never seen before, and getting to rock out on stage every night, doing what I love more than anything, playing music! Since then, I have stopped touring and focused on playing and booking gigs in my home town of Melbourne. The gigs are just as fun, but now I also get to have a decent night’s sleep!
After realising I wasn’t built for the rock n roll lifestyle, I found myself being drawn to playing weddings and events. The best part for me is having a dance floor full of people with massive smiles on their faces, singing and dancing the night away.
I love that I get to share my love of music with others, and whether I’m providing the music myself, or helping to plan weddings and events, I get an immense sense of satisfaction, knowing that I’ve been able to help people celebrate on their biggest days.
Abbey - Sales & Events Manager
Abbey is a fully qualified wedding and events planner and stylist.
Abbey met Ben back in the old days and quickly discovered that he was not only her neighbour but a fantastic musician and owner of WBC Entertainment as well. Throughout the years Abbey & Ben have worked together side by side at numerous events and had plenty of laughs and craziness to share.
After working as an onsite wedding planner for 10 years at different wedding venues across Melbourne, Abbey really knows her stuff when it comes to planning and organising wonderful weddings. Abbey loves all things weddings and events, and will happily talk your ears off about different aspects of the industry.
She has completed her certificate of wedding planning, styling and design though the Wedding Planner Institute.
Abbey loves spending time with her partner Luke, her family and of course her 2 fur-babies Zoli & Spencer. She is a crazy Star Wars fan and even has the tattoos to prove it.
Olivia - Artist & Social Media Manager
Hi everyone,
My name is Olivia, and I am the Artist & Social Media Manager here at WBC Entertainment.
I have been working with Ben for the last five years and have absolutely loved seeing WBC become the business that it is today.
Outside of WBC, I have been completing a Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine) with the hopes of one day being a qualified acupuncturist/herbalist. I am also a musician myself (DJ included) and teach private singing/piano lessons, which I absolutely love.
I am excited to continue working with Ben and Abbey as we endeavour to provide couples with incredible live music on their special day.
